About Me I was born and raised in South Africa and have been living in Europe for 12 years, living in London and Paris before settling in Vienna. I started my adventure with photography at an early age, concentrating on artistic portraits including self-portraits, alongside details and landscapes. I later developed my unique style in the field of wedding photography which has become very close to my heart.
My Style & Achievements My working style is calm and unobtrusive. I am an artist and an observer and admire beauty in every aspect of life. Photography allows me to capture the beauty I see and the emotions expressed by people. My work has been published in many leading wedding magazines and ‘well known’ bridal blogs such as Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, and my work has received Honourable Mentions every year since 2006 at the International Photography Awards (IPA) including Winner in 2008 in the Wedding Category. I was also awarded Photographer of the Year by Practical Photography Magazine (UK) in 2005.
My Clients The majority of my clients are international and have various cultural backgrounds which can be seen throughout my work and portfolio. I have photographed Russian weddings, Jewish weddings, Greek Orthodox, Ukrainian Greek Catholic, Gregorian Armenian and Chinese Tea ceremonies to name a few. I have photographed weddings across the world with some of my first commissions taking place in the Seychelles and Armenia. Other destinations include New York, Mallorca, Greece and more recently Santiago, Chile. This international experience has been invaluable to me and highly impacts my work and the person I am. I value personal contact with my clients which allow me to familiarize myself with their passions, interests and cultural backgrounds. This helps me in achieving the very best working relationship and often creating a bond and real friendship even after the wedding day. I therefore believe that what I do is a life-style and not a professional occupation.
