Sabine & Stathis met 6 years ago. He spent a weekend with his friends visiting Vienna and they met through a mutual friend while out sightseeing in Vienna. It was love at first sight and they were a couple from the first day they met. After 4 days he went back to Athens and they spoke on the phone everyday and tried to meet each other as often as possible. After 1 year they decided that Sabine should move to Athens. About 4 years later Stathis took Sabine to their country house in Peloponnes. They drove up a hill to where they had a beautiful view, and with the stars and moon in the sky he proposed to her while ‘you are my destiny’ played from the radio.
They had a traditional greek wedding, in the most beautiful Orthodox church I have ever seen. 250 guests attended the wedding which took place at Coast right by the sea. There was delicious food, fireworks and traditional greek dancing to keep the guests entertained until the early hours of the morning.
I feel so lucky to have taken part in such a beautiful wedding. Thank you Sabine and Stathis for having us come all the way from Vienna, where you first met, to document your special day!
